Run for the Fun!
NYLaughs.org presents the very first #LITP Laugh Track 5K and Free Comedy Performance Sunday, June 30th at 1pm at Wolfe Pond Park at 420 Cornelia Ave in Staten Island! Directly following the race at the finish line will be Laughter In The Park’s FIRST SHOW of the 2019 Summer Season! Come run for your laughs! Check-in 12:00 pm.
PRIZES FOR BEST COSTUMED FAVORITE SITCOM CHARACTER
Prizes will be awarded for top finishers. Runners are encouraged to race dressed as their favorite sitcom character- prizes awarded for best costumes. Can you beat your best time while channeling Urkel?
Check-in and registration begin at 12:00p. Race will begin promptly at 1pm. Runners will cross the finish line into the audience space, where they can join the crowd for free standup performances beginning at 2pm. Refreshments provided by our sponsors.
NYLaughs.org is New York City’s only community-serving nonprofit comedy organization, providing FREE standup performances in New York’s parks and public spaces. Our hope is to enrich NY lives, build community, greaten happiness and health while deepening an appreciation of a uniquely NY cultural asset, stand up comedy! Laughter In The Park (#LITP) is our summer series and we’re thrilled to kick off our 13th season in Staten Island on June 30th!
